Barbara Fay GODMAN (nee Gates)

1 November 1937 – 17 January 2026

Barbara passed away peacefully after a short illness. 

Dearly loved wife of Bruce Godman (dec). Much-loved mum and mother-in-law to David, Richard & Margarita, and Jane; Grandmother to Dustin, Matthew, Jarrad, Kate and Scrumpy; Great-grandmother to Ollie and Mason. Devoted sister and loved sister-in-law of Jill (dec), John (dec), Richard & Liz, Sue, Beth & Peter. An aunt to many, but an extra-special aunt & great-aunt to Jo, Angie, Enzo & Greta. 

As per Barbara’s wishes, a private family celebration of her life was held on Friday, 23 January.

A very special thank you to the nurses & care staff at Summerset in the Sun – Your love for mum was a great comfort to her and us.
