Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Tuesday 3 November 2026, the Feast Day of St Martin de Porres, aged 72.
Dearly loved husband of Ange. Much loved father and father-in-law of Tim and Ang, Jacob and Emma, Bec and Marcus, Emily and Sam. Treasured Grandad of Maddie, Jack, Amelia, Jake, Jessica, Frankie, Griff, Lulu and Moss.
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace.

The Rosary will be recited at St Peter Chanel Church, Motueka, on Friday 6 November at 6pm. A Catholic Requiem Mass to celebrate Marty’s life will be held at the same church on Saturday 7 November at 11am, followed by interment at Flett Road Cemetery, Lower Moutere.
In lieu of flowers, donations to St Vincent de Paul would be gratefully received.
