Cherished husband of Kas, beloved dad and best mate of Mike.

Dearly loved brother of Alan, Eleanor and David. Loved brother-in-law of Brian and Anne, Cliff (deceased) and Monica; Allan and Margaret; Neville and Janice.

To his many nieces and nephews, he was simply Dougie; much loved uncle and great-uncle.

Doug fought with quiet courage until the very end. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A private cremation has been held.

A celebration of Doug’s life will be advised at a later date.
