Aged 86 passed away on July 15^th, 2025, at the Wood Retirement Village Nelson.

A Dearly loved mother by her children, Mark, Laurel and Scott. Much Loved sister of Solveig, Selma and Carl. Loved by her grand and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Sonja was a keen and creative soul who lived in her garden, enjoyed floral art and Tai Chi.

Sonja will be sadly missed by her family, friends and colleagues.

A memorial service will be held at Simplicity Funerals Chapel, 69 Haven Road, Nelson on Thursday 10^th July from 11am.
