Dr Guy Antony Pettitt

31 July 1939 – 18 July 2025

Much loved and deeply missed by his children Tom, Mark and Annie, grandchildren Jordan, Amber, Yared, Georgie, Charlie, Ruben and Isabella, and great-granddaughter Emilia.

Guy was a kind and compassionate man, a dedicated family GP in Motueka for many years. He was also a pioneer in acupuncture practice and longtime student and teacher of esoteric wisdom.
He leaves behind a legacy of knowledge, integrity, and care—respected mentor, trusted colleague, and loyal friend to many. His much loved pastimes included sailing, painting and for many years guitar playing. He received and gave great joy to us in all these ways which gives us some of our most cherished memories.

A memorial gathering for family and close friends will be held in the coming months. Further details will be released by the family when arrangements have been confirmed.
