Barry John Shirtcliff

SHIRTCLIFF, Barry John.  Barry died suddenly in his family home in Stoke, Nelson, on 28 March 2025, aged 80. Barry loved a good yarn, camaraderie on the golf course, and gave service to the golfing Community over many decades.  He also enjoyed time boating, loved the sea, and animals.  Barry embraced every challenge with positivity, enthusiasm, and a can-do Kiwi attitude.  Barry leaves behind his partner, Alleyne. He was a much-loved father to Karen, Craig, and Tracey and a loved grandad to Sara, Brayden, Maddison, Harrison, Jack and Tate. A private cremation was held at 1 p.m. on Monday, 7 April. The family celebrates Barry’s life on Friday, 11th April 2025 at 2 pm at the Waimea Country Club, 345 Queen Street, Richmond.
