Capstick, Neil – Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family at Nelson Tasman Hospice on Wednesday, 2 October 2024, at 2:35am.

Beloved husband of Sue. Adored father of Paul and Elena, David and Sarah, Marc and Lynne. Cherished “Super Da” to Rosa, Marco, Zoe, Sam, Sophie, Louie, Finn, and Lily. Much-loved brother to Brian (deceased), John and Grazyna, and uncle to Teresa, and Rob.

Heartfelt thanks to the staff at Nelson Tasman Hospice, with special gratitude to Dr. Ed Johnson and Dr. Anna Wojtacha.

A celebration of Neil’s life will be held at Saxton Oval cricket pavilion on Tuesday, 8 October 2024, at 11:00am, with burial to follow. An “After Match” gathering to be held at the Nelson Suburbs Football Clubrooms at Saxton Field from 3pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Nelson Tasman Hospice.
